GPS Chartplotters

GPS chartplotter is a marine electronics navigation system device used in marine navigation that integrates a GPS receiver with an electronic navigational chart (ENC) capable of displaying electronic maritime charts, enabling sailors to continuously monitor the movement, position and speed of his motor boat along with the surrounding environment, both above and below the water. Radar, automatic information systems (AIS) or other sensors such as sonar and echolocator may be used to display some additional important information on the GPS chartplotters.
